“Created to Create”

I first saw the phrase “Created to Create” on an Instagram post by artist, Stefan Kunz and the image, along with the caption, really stuck with me because it had been something I had actually felt for a while before seeing it.

Then, I started seeing this phrase used more often, by different people with different creative interests. I don’t know who came up with this phrase. Maybe I had seen this phrase in the past before even seeing the post by Stefan and just never really noticed it but all I know, it has become one of my favourite sayings. 💜

I love being creative even if I haven’t really been the most creative lately. I enjoy doing different things that involves creativity and discovering new ways to be creative. I even enjoy the creativity of others and seeing their vision brought to life.

Like Stefan, I am a believer in the almighty God who, in my opinion, is the greatest artist of all time (He did create the whole universe after all 😊). I believe my creative interests along with my overall love for creativity are gifts from my Heavenly Father and I do believe I was created by Him to create. I believe that the majority, if not all of us, were. A gentleman by the name of Jim had made a comment on the post saying that we are most like our Creator when we are being creative and although, to me personally, I believe we are actually most like God when we love others, being creative is certainly another way we are most like Him.
